The Saudi Cultural Development Fund (CDF) has launched a special pop-up at Selfridges London, celebrating the artistry and heritage of Saudi handicrafts as part of the Year of Handicrafts 2025. Running until June 22nd, the showcase offers visitors a curated selection of handmade works, including palm weaving, jewellery, and leather goods, each inspired by Saudi Arabia’s natural and architectural heritage.

The initiative, presented in partnership with the global non-profit Turquoise Mountain, provides an international platform for Saudi artisans and cultural entrepreneurs to showcase their work. All pieces are crafted from locally sourced, sustainable materials, reflecting a blend of tradition and contemporary design.

Running alongside a Saudi fashion showcase at Selfridges, the activation highlights the Kingdom’s growing cultural footprint. Both are supported by the CDF and designed to empower creatives, promote heritage, and expand global appreciation for Saudi craftsmanship.
This showcase also aligns with CDF’s Nama’ Accelerators: Handicrafts Track, which offers mentorship, training, and funding to help build sustainable cultural enterprises across the Kingdom.
